PG&E Agrees to Buy Power From California Solar Project

PG&E Corp., owner of California’s largest utility, agreed to buy power from a 15-megawatt solar project under development in southern California.

8minutenergy Renewables LLC and Saferay Inc. will sell power from the Woodmere Solar Farm in Kern County, California, to PG&E once the plant is completed in December 2015, Folsom, California-based 8minutenergy said today in an e-mailed statement. The company expects to start construction next year.
