KKR Acquires Central England Water Group From Alinda Capital

KKR & Co. acquired South Staffordshire Plc, a central England water supplier, from Alinda Capital Partners LLC, the Greenwich, Connecticut-based infrastructure fund manager said today. Terms weren’t disclosed.

The group’s South Staffordshire Water and Cambridge Water divisions supply water to 1.6 million residents in the West Midlands and East Anglia, Alinda said in an e-mailed statement. The deal with the investment firm KKR was agreed to on May 3, Alinda said.
