Credit Suisse has appointed Trevor Daley global head of market data, replacing Gerald le Donne who has been overseeing market data strategy at the bank for the past two and a half years, after initially joining as chief technology officer in 2003.

Le Donne, who spearheaded Credit Suisse's "One Bank" centralization and cost reduction program, which aims to consolidate market data operations across its investment banking, asset management and private banking operations, takes on a new role as
