The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) today announced the candidates for election to two Member-At-Large Board of Administration positions. Current terms for both positions end in January 2014.
The candidates for “Position A” are:
- Andrew H. Hopkins
- Joseph (JJ) Jelincic (Incumbent)
- Lorenzo Rios
- Kumar Sah
The candidates for “Position B” are:
- Michael Bilbrey (Incumbent)
- Harvey Robinson
Candidates for both positions are elected by, and represent, all CalPERS members including retirees and those still active in the workforce from State, school and public agency employers. CalPERS members active as of July 1, 2013, and retired members with an effective retirement date on or before July 1, 2013, are eligible to vote. Ballots will be mailed to eligible voters on August 30, 2013. Voting period runs August 30, 2013 - September 27, 2013.
A public random drawing will determine the order of names on the ballot.
