Alternative fuels group taps new vice president

David J. Gelman will join the alternative fuels consulting group to lead efforts on expanding services for federal clients.

“Dave is highly respected for his creative solutions to technical and regulatory issues impacting the alternative fuels industry. He will be a valuable asset to our organization,” Jill Hamilton, president of SESI, said in a statement.

Gelman has more than 30 years experience in the alternative fuels field, SESI said.

He has helped start three federally sponsored alternative vehicle efforts and helped design federal alternative fuel, energy efficiency, renewable energy and emissions control programs, the group said.
